OFFSPRING reached out to us to partner on the grand opening of their new store located in Kings Cross, London. OFFSPRING has been around for almost thirty years and are a global leading force in pushing sneaker culture through their large online following, Selfridges HQ and hubs across the UK.
This new store is unique in that it is OFFSPRING's first 'Community' store with the mission to provide not only great sneakers, but initiatives and workshops to support creatives in the community. Read more here.
Their ethos around building a community-led brand is completely in-line with us at Cháps, so we were more than happy to collaborate on this project; not to mention also being life-long fans of sneakers and sneaker-culture!
We had just over a month to prepare, which included creating co-branded physical marketing materials, crafting the bespoke Cháps menu for the event and planning our content strategy. We also got in-touch with our friends at Wray & Nephew to see if they would like to be the official Alcohol sponsor.
Fast forward to the event...
With the DJ kicking things off at 7pm, the new store was filled with around 120 guests and the Cháps drinks were flowing. The feedback on our drinks was amazing, with guests constantly returning for more Cháps-based cocktails.
We also invited our amazing friend-host Oyinlala to record a gameshow-style challenge amongst the guests for their chance to win a £100 OFFSPRING voucher.
All-in-all, the event was a huge success and we looking forward to working on similar projects in the future.
